While steeped in tradition, the community will employ modern technology to the greatest extent beneficial to all its residents and celebrate the joys of life and living.

 

It will - grow and harvest organic crops, generate renewable energy, conserve and recycle natural resources; preserve, replenish and nurture the indigenous wild life, forests and natural water ways.  It will rejoice in community celebrations and honor all creation.

The Village Place is being planned to be a modern small farm community in Northwestern Louisiana that promotes self-reliant sustainable living.  It is committed to maintaining a symbiotic partnership with nature - living lightly upon the planet earth and giving back as much as it takes.

 

It is a community where its citizens share their triumphs, victories, joys and accomplishments; as well as their sorrows, struggles, disappointments and pain.
